My best Creative work before coming to this course

This is a mechanical claw I designed for an engineering assignment. A mechanical claw was required to pick up an object and transport it safely to another destination and this design was created. To conjure a device to fulfill a particular purpose required great critical creative thinking and is thus why this is my best creative work before coming to Arch 1101.

The Alhambra is a palace, fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It was built upon ruins of old fortifications by the Mulslim Moors towards the end of their rule in southern Spain. The decorations within the palaces typified the remains of Moorish dominion within Spain and ushered in the last great period of Andalusian art in Granada.

An original photograph of something beautiful

This is a photograph of a 1899 painting by Lionel Royer called "Vercingetorix throws down his arms at the feet of Julius Caesar" which depicts the surrender of the Gaulish general Vercingetorix following his defeat at the battle of Alesia in 52BC. The historic significance of this battle and the atmosphere captured by the masterful combination of colours in this painting make it a truly beautiful piece.
